Rebels take down Frederick Douglass

38-17

It was senior night for the undefeated Rebels as they took on 6A powerhouse Frederick Douglass for their regular season finale. On the Rebels first drive, Boyle County would march the ball down to the red zone and would come up short forcing them to settle for a field goal. Just before the first quarter ended, senior star and UK commit Montavin Quisenberry would run the ball from 3 yards out giving the Rebels a 10-0 lead. In the second quarter with under 8 minutes before the half, Frederick Douglass would respond back with a 9 yard touchdown run by Dakari Talbert making the score 10-7. As the half was coming to the end, Boyle County’s Seneca Driver would score from one yard out on a controversial play. Boyle County would respond back once again as they marched the ball down to Bronco territory which resulted in a 3 yard touchdown run by Gage Feltner.
